We hope everyone is safe and healthy and practicing whatever the recommendations in your area are. And then add some extra care, compassion and mindfulness.
We consider ourselves lucky to be in a profession that heals the soul, and we hope that you feel the same; music, creativity, the arts. The physical stages might be dark, but remember – the art does not originate on stage, but in your imagination. And there is no reason to social distance that.
Whether you are on the creation or receiving end, remain open to the artistic expression.
That being said, let this time be whatever you need, whether that be a chance to exercise deeper creativity, or a chance to step back from the world and relax. Take care of your souls as well as your bodies best you can- reach out to those you love, breathe deep, and allow yourself space.
Although our spring and summer event (Paradivas and Make Music Harlem) are canceled in their originally conceived form, please stay in touch as we try to find alternative ways (or dates) to bring them to you.
All sessions are presented 5-7 pm via Zoom and are free (donations are welcome), but you must contact us prior to each event to obtain the zoom code.
